Information we collect

We collect information in the following categories:

• Information you provide. Name, email address, phone number, project location, budget range, service interest, messages, and any photos or documents you upload through contact forms, the AI Project Estimator, concierge chat, newsletter signup, or resource downloads.
• Communications. Records of calls, voicemails, emails, and text messages you exchange with us, including the content and timing of those communications when we retain them for business purposes.
• Consent records. Whether you agreed to receive calls or text messages, the date and method of consent, and opt-out requests (such as STOP replies).
• Technical and usage data. IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth, and similar analytics data collected automatically when you use the Site.
• Cookies and similar technologies. Small files or identifiers placed on your device by us or our partners to remember preferences, measure traffic, and understand marketing performance. See "Cookies & analytics" below.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

How we use information

• Respond to inquiries, schedule consultations, and deliver project-related follow-up.
• Prepare preliminary estimates, scope discussions, and written proposals when you request them.
• Send service-related calls and text messages when you have opted in, including appointment reminders and project updates.
• Operate, secure, and improve the Site, including debugging, analytics, and conversion measurement.
• Run advertising and remarketing campaigns on platforms such as Google and Meta when those tools are enabled.
• Comply with law, enforce our terms, prevent fraud, and protect our rights and the safety of others.
• Maintain business records, including TCPA consent logs and communication history.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Where required by law, we also do not "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising without offering you a right to opt out.

Service providers & third parties

We use trusted vendors that process data on our behalf only to deliver their services. These may include:

• Vercel: website hosting, content delivery, and optional Vercel Analytics (aggregate traffic metrics).
• Formspree and/or custom webhooks: secure delivery of form submissions to our team.
• OpenAI: processing of messages and optional images you submit through the AI Project Estimator and website concierge chat. Do not submit sensitive personal information you do not want processed by an AI provider.
• Twilio: delivery of SMS and MMS messages and related messaging infrastructure when you opt in to text communications. Twilio may process your phone number, message content, delivery status, and carrier information. Twilio's privacy practices are described at twilio.com/legal/privacy.
• Google Analytics (GA4): when enabled, Google collects usage data to help us understand how visitors interact with the Site. Google may use cookies and similar technologies. You can learn about Google's practices at policies.google.com/privacy and opt out via Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or your browser/device settings.
• Meta (Facebook) Pixel: when enabled, Meta collects information about Site activity (such as pages viewed and form submissions) to measure advertising performance and show relevant ads on Meta platforms. Meta may associate this data with your Meta account if you are logged in. See Meta's Privacy Policy and adjust ad preferences at facebook.com/settings?tab=ads.

We may also disclose information when required by law, in connection with a business transfer, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Customized Builders, our clients, or others.

Cookies & analytics

The Site may use first-party cookies and third-party cookies, pixels, tags, and local storage set by our analytics and advertising partners (including Google and Meta). These technologies help us measure visits, understand which pages perform well, attribute leads to marketing campaigns, and improve user experience.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may limit certain Site features. Where available, you may also use industry opt-out tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance or YourAdChoices.

Text messages & phone calls (TCPA)

If you opt in on our forms, we may contact you at the phone number you provide by call or text message, including through automated or prerecorded technology, about your project inquiry, scheduling, estimates, and related services. Message frequency varies based on your project status and communications with us.

Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive marketing or automated texts is not a condition of purchasing construction services. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP or call +1 (954) 310-6030. We may send a final confirmation message after you opt out.

We retain records of your consent and opt-out requests as required for compliance. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

AI Project Estimator & concierge chat

Outputs from our AI tools are preliminary, non-binding, and for informational purposes only. They are not a formal bid, contract, engineering opinion, or permit approval. Do not rely on AI-generated estimates as the sole basis for financial or construction decisions. A licensed review is required for binding scope, pricing, and code compliance.

Content you submit to AI features may be processed by OpenAI under their terms and privacy policy. Avoid uploading confidential documents unless you are comfortable with that processing.

Retention & security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to inquiries, manage active or prospective projects, meet legal and licensing obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. TCPA consent records and opt-out logs may be kept longer where required for compliance.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain processing such as targeted advertising.

• California residents (CCPA/CPRA). You may request to know, access, correct, or delete personal information, and to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. Submit requests to admin@customizedbuilders.com with "California Privacy Request" in the subject line. We will verify your request before responding. You may designate an authorized agent where permitted by law.
• Florida residents. You may contact us to access or correct personal information we maintain, subject to applicable law.
• All users. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those emails. For texts, reply STOP. You may also contact us to update or delete information where we are not required to retain it.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights permitted by law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Site after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
